The SUPSI Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care is organising a public event to present the results of the SIGMA project, entitled ‘Digital games for cognitive wellbeing: between technology, everyday life and new possibilities’.
The event, promoted by the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA USI-SUPSI) and the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC), is part of the Swiss AI Weeks: a nationwide initiative that harnesses Switzerland’s world-class research in artificial intelligence to turn it into practical, real-world solutions.
The Symposium presents the most current developments in the field of clinical data science, highlighting cutting-edge and future applications and tools, while exploring the possibilities and opportunities that data science offers for daily clinical routine.
The workshop explores the role of AI in electrophysiology, focusing on diagnostics, patient monitoring, and personalized treatments through machine learning techniques.

The Department of Innovative Technologies, together with BFH, HSLU, OST, and ZHAW, is organizing in the context of the Master of Science in Engineering with Medical Engineering profile, a symposium dedicated to the new challenges of the MedTech sector: from digitization to the application of AI, to the regulation of medical devices.
The symposium, organised by Francesca Faraci, Head of Biomedical Signal Processing at MEDiTech, will take place as part of the Applied Machine Learning Days 2024 in Lausanne, one of the most important events on machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in Europe.
